Gong does not publish its prices. Its pricing page says licenses are priced per user, with a platform fee based on the number of users supported, and then sends you to a quote form. Vendr's contract data puts small teams at $1,600 to $2,400 per seat a year, while Triple Session costs $45 to $95 per user a month with no platform fee.
Every Gong figure in this post comes from a source I read on October 31, 2026, linked with the date of its data. I work at Triple Session, which sells a Gong alternative, so check anything that matters for your budget against a written quote from Gong.
How much does Gong cost?
Gong does not say, so the range comes from sources that saw contracts or talked to buyers. Vendr is the most solid of them: it reports from 1,151 purchases.
| Source | What it says about Gong pricing | Date of the data |
|---|---|---|
| Gong pricing page | Licenses are priced per user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users supported. No dollar amounts. | Page modified Jul 31, 2026 |
| Vendr | Median contract of $55,359 a year (range $11,530 to $204,050) across 1,151 purchases. Small teams: $1,600 to $2,400 per seat a year on the standard tier, 1-year contract. Mid-market: $1,400 to $2,200. | Updated March 2026 |
| G2 | No vendor pricing and no free trial. Buyers report a 14% average discount. | Updated Jul 27, 2026 |
| tl;dv, a Gong competitor | About $1,600 per user a year. Platform fee from $5,000 to $50,000 or more. Onboarding from $7,500 to $30,000 or more. Based on RevOps leaders, Reddit and the Vendr community. | Jul 6, 2026 |
| Avoma, a Gong competitor | About $1,600 per user a year at list. Platform fee from $5,000 to $50,000. Onboarding from $7,500 to $65,000. Based on Vendr data and its own sales conversations. | Oct 22, 2026 |
All five sources were read on October 31, 2026.
The sources disagree in three places:
- Seat price. Vendr gives a range of $1,600 to $2,400 for small teams. Both competitor guides give one figure near $1,600, the low end of Vendr's range.
- Platform fee. Gong and Vendr give no amount. The competitor guides say $5,000 to $50,000 a year.
- Onboarding. Vendr says standard onboarding is typically included in the base contract. The competitor guides report a one-time fee that starts at $7,500.
The math below uses Vendr's numbers and treats the rest as estimates.
What does Gong's pricing include?
Gong sells a core license, the Gong Foundation platform, and applications on top of it. Integrations with your existing tools are free, according to gong.io/pricing. People without a seat are free Collaborators with limited access, according to Gong's plans and seats article (updated January 8, 2026).
| Stays in the seat | Added on top of the core license | Uses Gong credits |
|---|---|---|
| Calls and call analysis | Enable Essentials | AI Trackers |
| Conversation insights | Forecast Essentials | MCP server |
| Deal intelligence | Gong Forecast | API-based AI workflows |
| Forecasting | Gong Engage | |
| Coaching | Data Cloud | |
| Revenue and deal predictions | ||
| Gong Agents used by individual users |
The first and third columns come from Gong's credits article (published June 9, 2026). The second comes from the plans and seats article, where each application has its own seats.
What are the extra costs?
The seat price is one part of the bill. These are the other parts, with who reports each one.
- Platform fee. Gong says the fee depends on the number of users supported and gives no amount. Competitor guides report $5,000 to $50,000 a year (tl;dv, July 6, 2026; Avoma, October 22, 2026).
- Onboarding and services. Vendr says standard onboarding and training are typically in the base contract, while custom integrations, data migrations and advanced training can be quoted separately. tl;dv and Avoma report a one-time fee that starts at $7,500.
- Add-ons. Enable, Forecast and Engage are applications added to the core license, each with its own seats. Vendr reports that Engage and Forecast are commonly quoted at 20 to 40% of the base platform cost per seat.
- Gong credits. AI Trackers, the MCP server and API-based AI workflows use credits. Gong says it does not add credits or generate charges automatically, and extra credits are bought only if your company chooses to.
- Contract terms. Vendr reports that 60 to 70% of Gong deals are multi-year, with 15 to 30% lower annual pricing on 2-year and 3-year contracts. Auto-renewal clauses often carry 5 to 10% annual increases, and adding seats mid-contract can trigger an amendment at a higher per-seat rate.
- Minimum seats. Vendr lists a typical contract minimum of 10 to 15 seats.
How much does Gong cost for 20 people?
Vendr's small-team range of $1,600 to $2,400 per seat, times 20, comes to $32,000 to $48,000 a year in seats alone. The platform fee, onboarding and add-ons come on top. This is my arithmetic from Vendr's range; Gong did not quote it.
| Year one, 20 people | Cost |
|---|---|
| Gong, seats only (Vendr small-team range) | $32,000 to $48,000, plus platform fee, onboarding and add-ons |
| Triple Session AI Coach ($55 per user a month) | $16,200, with $3,000 Standard onboarding |
| Triple Session Academy Pro + AI Coach ($95 per user a month) | $25,800, with $3,000 Standard onboarding |
For Triple Session, 20 people on Academy Pro + AI Coach is 20 × $95 × 12 = $22,800 a year, plus $3,000 for Standard onboarding, so $25,800 in year one. The two tools sell different bundles, so ask Gong to price the applications you need, such as Enable, in the same quote.
